Robert is a lifelong pianist who left professional music for the practice of law. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School with extensive experience working with young companies through private placements and other initial capitalizations, including several companies focused on blockchain technology. Robert clerked in the Southern District of Florida. He taught as a professor of Law and Economics at Miami Regional University. From time to time, he lectures on ancient philosophy and medieval literature at the University of Miami. He received an MBA with a concentration in real estate finance from the University of Miami, and specializes in international and constitutional law.

Sonia has four decades of experience practicing at the highest levels of the law. She clerked for the Eleventh Circuit before joining the U.S. Attorneys. While serving as Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney, as Deputy Chief and later as Chief of Appeals, she helped prosecute or supervise numerous significant cases, including that of Panamanian President Manuel Noriega, the corruption trial of state court judges ("Operation Courtbroom"), and the prosecution of Cuban officials involved in the narcotics trade ("Cuban Connection Case"). ​ In private practice, she has extensive experience in criminal, administrative, and environmental law, having represented the Miccosukee Indian Tribe in their efforts to enforce Federal water standards, and having undertaken high-profile, international criminal defense. Recently, she represented the daughter of Mrs. Henry Ford in a guardianship proceeding.
